Question: Hi. I had a tummy tuck October 21, 2016 . In February the dr. said it was OK to go to the gym. I asked him if I could do set up he said yes I could resume my normal activities I go to the gym 3 to 4 days a week and I do somewhere around 60 to 100 sit ups Last week I've noticed my stomach in the area I indicated on the manikin body example has become a little swollen. This week on Tuesday it was very swollen and I was drinking a lot of water but I could hardly urinate. Then yesterday I must have drank over 90 ounces of water and I urinated a couple times during the night and I felt much more comfortable this morning. Later this afternoon I had a pain in my stomach about 2 inches below my belly button for about 40 minutes. Then that one away but I am still very bloated in that area. I am wondering does this have to do with my tummy tuck on or am I having another issue ??? I am going on 65 I do take three aspirins or Motrin Motrin a day and I have been for over year and I do drink around a bottle of wine a night

Brief Answer:
It seems like UTI.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to Health Care Magic and Thanks for your question.
It seems that you could be having a Urinary tract infection(UTI) and unlikely to be due to the surgery. Also, Taking Aspirin or Motrin daily is definitely not good for your kidneys. It could lead to long term damage to your kidneys and similar symptoms. I suggest you get a Urine test done and Urine culture and also an Ultrasound KUB. These investigations will reveal what is wrong and pick up any infection, if there is. We could then start antibiotics accordingly. For now, please continue to have a lot of water and stop taking the Aspirin. If you have pain, you can have Capsule Tramadol that does not damage the kidneys.
Take care and let me know if there are any queries.
Do let me know the investigation reports also.
