Brief Answer:
Levetiracetam would be safe
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist and would try to help you to the best of my abilities.
Oxetol is generally safe. However, it can be tapered to 150 mg twice daily for five days and then stopped.
Now, we can start Levetiracetam (LEVIPIL), which is very safe for liver. The usual dose is 500 mg two times daily.
I would be pleased to answer any follow-up queries.

she is 14 years old and her weight is 57 kg.Kindly let us know the doses ,Sir.we r anxiously waiting fr ur reply,Sir.
Brief Answer:
The dose was mentioned in the previous reply.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.
As mentioned, for a 57 (nearly 60 kg) patient, the dose would be 60 X 10 = 600 mg per day. As it needs to be given in two divided doses, the dose would be 300 mg in morning and 300 mg at nights. Some people may get dizziness with tegrital, so, for the first five days, I given 150 mg two times daily, and then, make it 300 mg two times daily.
