Suggest Treatment For Severe Acid Reflux In An Elderly Person
Question: Hi , this is about my Mother who is 63 years of age and recently experiencing some gas formation with some weird sound in her stomach after having food. I consulted with doctor he suggested some tablets like Sporolac and Nexpro, with that she got relief but still she feels some mild gas formation but not like earlier. We also have tested sugar, thyroid, blood pressure, all test are normal. Could you please suggest some remedy? thanks

Ideally she should undergo an Upper GI Endoscopy and biopsy if needed and then consult a gastroenterologist or a physician with reports.
