Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic
I have gone through your query and I have also reviewed the Images.
Acne can affect the face as well as back, as all these areas are rich in sebaceous glands
You have active acne on forehead along with atrophic acne scaring on both the cheeks.
I would suggest you to continue with benzoyl peroxide gel, one daily for active inflammatory acne i.e red, painful and pus filled lesions.
At night you may use a topical Retinoid e.g Adapalene gel, applied as a thin film to the whole affected area.
Topical retinoids are comedolytic and therefore prevent new acne formation apart from treating existing acne.
Retinoids would also help get rid of blackheads on nose.
Topical retinoids also help lighten the dark spots left over by acne.
In addition, I would also suggest an Oral antibiotic, since you have inflammatory acne lesions on forehead. My choice of Oral antibiotic for inflammatory acne vulgaris is either Oral Doxycycline or Azithromycin.
Oral antibiotics as well as topical retinoids are prescription drugs. I suggest you to talk to your doctor for the needful
Regarding acne scaring, it can only be improved by a certain procedures like either Dermabrasion, Dermaroller, Subcision, Fractional Co 2 laser etc.
These procedures can be combined to produce the desired results. Multiple sittings may be required.
I suggest you to visit a dermatologist in your region for the needful for more details about these procedures and the best procedure or combination of procedures for your acne scaring.
I would suggest Fractional Co 2 Laser sessions along with Subcision for your acne scars.
