Suggest Treatment For Severe And Persistent Headaches While Dealing With Anxiety

Question: I deal with anxiety. I'm curious as to whether the following has to do with anxiety or something more serious. I have been dealing with headaches for weeks, where my head feels like it's being squeezed. I thought it had to do with a combination of anxiety and that in the previous months I had a back muscle spasm and cervical strain. However, I have been feeling very week in my joints and muscles. For instance, moving my arms is achey and my jaw feels... uncomfortable, I guess the word is. The past week or so, my hands and feet have been tingling and again, I felt week. Sometimes as I would be walking, my left leg would feel limp, even. It hasn't stopped me from walking, but it makes things very concerning. Any clue as to what could be doing on? Should I see a neurologist?

Brief Answer:
I would like to run some tests...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

I understand your are suffering from anxiety disorder. It may have other associated manifestation like tremlousness, headache, bodyache, fatigue, tingling sensation decreased sleep. But before we point fingers at anxiety as the cause of all your symptoms, I would like to run some tests. Some investigation like blood sugar, Thyroid profile, serum vitamin B12, vitamin D3 may be done for initial work up.

I am not sure if you had these tests yet. But if you haven't it would be worthwhile to visit a neurologist and consider them.

Until then continue taking medication as prescribed earlier.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

A few weeks ago, I went to the hospital for my neck and they took blood. However, I don't know what they tested nor did they tell me anything.

Upload previous investigation

I don't think I would be able to guess the tests performed. You can check the advised investigation by me with old investigations and do the rest. You can also upload previous investigation for review.
