Brief Answer:
SSRI drugs can help to improve the symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM

I can understand your concern. You have anxiety, sleep problems and history of bipolar disorder. The drugs you are taking can't help to control anxiety and more detailed evaluation and treatment is needed for best results.

For persisting anxiety drugs like SSRIs should be used. Escitalopram or Citalopram or Sertraline etc can be used and will definitely help to reduce the anxiety symptoms. As you have cardiac pacemaker so Sertraline will be most suitable for you. The drug is relatively safer and free of seriois side effects. For sleep issues benzodiazepines are first choice. Klonopin can be tried. The drug will help in sound sleep and will help in anxiety symptoms also. Once your anxiety comes under control then it's dose can be reduced.

So please talk to a good psychiatrist for re-opinion of the symptoms and prescription of the drugs I've mentioned.

Thanks and Take care.
