Suggest Treatment For Severe Anxiety While On Afrin
Question: I have been using Afrin for a few days to alleviate a congestion problem I have in the morning. My doctor is concerned that I might have a condition know as gastroesphageal reflux design and strongly suggested I stop the Afrin and use Flonase instead. He is also concerned about the rebound problem with Afrin. I cannot take decongestant pills as it would interfere with the XXXXXXX I take for an enlarged prostrate problem. I am a 71 year old male that does have an anxiety problem that is currently be handled by low dose of Clonazepam (1 MG per day). When reading the instructions for Flonase it says for allergy problems only. Should I use the Flonase - I don't feel like I should be using the Afrin any longer (approx. 3 days once in morning).

I do have glaucoma and am currently taking Timolol Maleate eye drops in morning and Lumigan eye drops at night.
