Suggest Treatment For Severe Back Pain

Question: In extreme pain with back , back has been put out before but this is way worse than usual . What can I do to relief pain ?

but... rest, positioning, hot shower
in theory aleve but in practice I've almost never had it work on anyone.
Chiropracty, massage by a real massage expert, accupuncture.....

Then... prevention ... physical therapy is the only thing found to work as a preventive.
