Suggest Treatment For Severe Back Pain
Question: I have severe back pain and am used to getting a mild pain medicine but was given a drug called Tordol. I feel it isn't effective at all. Any advice?
Brief Answer:
you can use more drugs...
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
unless there are contraindications, you can add more types of analgesics. When combining analgesics you get more from each of them than if you've used any of them individually. Ketorolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). When combined with paracetamol (acetaminophen) both drugs give better results. Another type of drug to combine it with is an opioid.
You'll probably find relief with more drugs. Make sure your doctor agrees with any regimen you will want to try!
Kind Regards!
