Brief Answer: Continue with Crocin for now. Detailed Answer: Hello Mr. XXXXXXX Thanks for posting your query. Severe body ache with fever suggests that you might be having a viral fever, if that is the case then you will have to continue taking Crocin tablets for another 3 days. Viral fevers generally take around 5 days to a week to come down, till then you might need to take paracetamol(Crocin) to keep your body temperature low. You can take Crocin 650 mg tablets once every 6 hours to reduce the fever, otherwise the fever will spike again. It is too early to say if the fever is viral or bacterial, so you will have to wait for 3 days, then if the fever persists you can consult your doctor for a complete physical examination and relevant investigations such as a complete blood count, WIDAL, test for Malaria, Dengue, urine routine exam and microscopy and blood culture and sensitivity, these tests will give us an idea as to what might be causing the fever. Based on the results of these tests a definitive treatment can be given to you. I hope this answers your questions, please feel free to write back if you have any doubts. Kind regards.

Brief Answer: You should consult a doctor as advised earlier Detailed Answer: Hello Mr. XXXXXXX Sorry for the delay in answering your question. I have advised you to consult your local doctor in my earlier response, you do need to see a doctor to get a prescription for antibiotics if the fever is not coming down. Apart from that, you will also need to get some blood tests done to rule out bacterial infections . Hope this answers your query. Regards
