Suggest Treatment For Severe Body Pain And Persistent Fever
Question: Good afternoon dear Dr.
I started with bodyache last Monday, and then I had fever Monday night and all day Tuesday. I got better Wednesday,but Wednesday night I started with a terrible cough.
I went to urgen care yesterday (saturday), and they prescribed me AZITHROMYCIN 250 MG, PREDNISONE 10 MG 2 daily for 5 days, BENZONATATE 100mg capsule 3 times per day. I started the medicine yesterday Saturday in the morning. Also before Iwent to the bed I took Tussin DM cough suppressant. I felt better during the day Saturday.
Last night I could not sleep because I had cough all night even that I took during the day the three BENZONATATE PEEL and tussin before I went to the bed and repeated around 2 oclock in the morning.
Question Base in my previous story, can you recommended me something more effective than BENZONATE and TUSSIN DM?
Thursday, Friday no sleep and Saturday even taking medicine neither sleep.

Thank dear Dr. for your answer. I am fine about the cough. but I have a scratchy throat and all the time I have to clear my throat and it is very uncomfortable. May you recommend me something for that?
