Suggest Treatment For Severe Chest Pain

I would explain as follows:
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX!
Welcome on HCM!
Regarding your concern, I would like to explain that it is necessary a careful differential diagnosis of your mother's pain.
Pain characteristics should be reviewed for a better understanding of the reasons.
Is it a sharp, well-localized paim, or a dull one?
Is it mdulated by posture and respiration?
First of all it is important to rule in/out a possible cardiac ischemia.
For this reason, it is recommended:
- a careful physical exam,
- a resting ECG,
- cardiac enzymes (CK-NB, Troponin),
- chest X ray study,
- cardiac ultrasound
Other possible alternatives, like backbone degenerative disorders, aortic disorders, costochondritis, pleural inflammation, etc. should be investigated as well.
Coming to this point, I advise you to ask immediate medical assistance to the nearest ER service as some of the above mentioned issues may be dangerous.
If for the moment this is not possible, she can try Acetaminophen (Paracetamol). Ibuprofen, Naproxen. etc.
Hope to have been helpful to you!
In case of any further uncertainties, feel free to ask me again.
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri
