Suggest Treatment For Severe Congestion And Cough

Question: I have what I call a good old Cold for about 6 days, I have a lot of congestion, deep coughing, raspy broken up voice, tire, can't smell a thing & can't taste. Co- workers think I should go to a doctor, should I or wait a couple more days?

You are having acute nasal infection. The coughing is because of post nasal discharge.
a take tablet amoxicillin plus clavulunate 625 mg twice daily
tablet anticold twice daily and
syrup chericof for cough relief 2 tsp thrice daily
hexidine gargles
Steam inhalation
It would be better to visit an ENT SPECIALIST or you can take the medicines I have prescribed.
All the medicines I have prescribed will be available only on prescription.
