Suggest Treatment For Severe Congestion And Coughing
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: My 20 year old son has had 3 weeks of severe congestion, drainage, and coughing
causing him to vomit. He has no appetite and is losing weight. His doctor prescribed the equivalent of a 5 day Z-Pack but there isn't any improvement. Any idea what maybe wrong with him? We ruled out mono because he's not tired all the time.

Brief Answer:
Take Zyrtec!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
This sounds more like allergic rhinitis. I will suggest that you get an anti-allergic medication. Zyrtec is a good option here. I will suggest that you get this from the pharmacy and take as directed.
I wish you well. Let me know how this unfolds....
I wish you a happy a holiday.
