Question: Hi my name is XXXXXXX my my brother who is 50 diagnosed stage 4 lung can cancer just finished chemo problem he hasnt used the bathroom in 2 weeks he has tried stool softner,enima,prune juce ,nothing is working

Hello dear.

Severe constipation is a problem with chemotherapy. However, there are still many drugs for it. You can try Peglec preparation which is used for colon washout.

Another drug is mannitol. If these don't work then manual removal of fecal matter can be tried.
