Suggest Treatment For Severe Constipation And Peristalsis

Some practical advises and next steps
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for asking HealthcareMagic.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.
Every person has their own unique pattern of peristalsis movements of the bowel, and yours apparently is happening at 4:00 am. I don't think that the wheat XXXXXXX is causing those symptoms in particular, but it is enhancing your peristalsis and because of the fiber that is in it and so that causes the pain.
If I're your caring doctor, I would recommend the following:
-- Stop taking the wheat XXXXXXX for a week.
-- Take a probiotic twice/daily.
-- Drink plenty of fluids and eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
-- If the bowel movement becomes normal I would recommend continuing with the high fiber diet which are taken mostly in fruits and vegetables.
-- If that is not enough, then I would recommend using Psyllium 2.5-30 g per day in divided doses. Start in a lower dose and increase gradually as needed. It is one of the fibers which is mostly effective in treating constipation. It is pure fiber and you can get it over the counter.
-- If not better and the pattern of painful bowel movement continues, then that would be the time to consider seeing a local doctor.
Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.
