Brief Answer:
Take lots of fiber and fluid in your diet

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The best solution to constipation is to take lots of fiber and fluid in your diet. I mean to say, lots of fruits and vegetables. Other sources of fiber are oats, whole wheat, ragi, beans, peas and lentils.

Among allopathic medicine, you can take lactifiber which is the combination of Lactitol and Isabgol. You can start with 15gm per day at night with a glass of water. In addition, you may also take Polyethylene glycol which comes in sachet and syrup form. I found this combination very useful in my patients.

I hope I have answered your query and this will help you. I wish you good health.
