Hello XXXX,
Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
I would like to know if she has aný fever also. Is there any history of asthma? Is she a smoker? She could be suffering from lower respiratory tract infection like pneumonia. She may have to undergo certain tests like a CBC and a chest x-ray to begin with. She may also need a course of antibiotics, nebulization and other symptomatic treatment.Hence I suggest you consult your PCP or a pulmonologist who can examine her and prescribe the necessary antibiotics and other symptomatic treatment.
Feel free to ask if you have any more queries.
Take care.
