Suggest Treatment For Severe Coughing Fits And Bronchitis
Question: About 10 days ago I had a violent coughing fit due to bronchitis. Something in the lowest part of the right side of my abdomen, right about the level with my hip bone) began cramping severely. My abdomen on that side became as hard as a rock, I mean really hard, and it took about 60 seconds for it to subside. It was painful. Since then my elimination habits have changed drastically. I am a person who consistently has once a day bowel movements that are large and cohesive. Now I am bereft of any perastalsis. It always was my cue that a bowel movement was required. Occasionally I feel something in my colon and when I strain, I eliminate a one inch, old piece of feces. For the past 10 days I've had only two bowel movements that consisted of more than that. My upper abdomen is distended and feels hard. Could that cough have put my large intestine in a twist? My doctor retired and I have not found a new one to see yet. What should I do if I cannot get in right away?

This can be diagnosed by the following:
