Question: my 15 year old son cannot stop coughing. I gave him benzonatate (200 mg). Can he still take the bromphenir pse dmsyr (the the doctor's walk-in prescribed Wednesday evening) for his sinuses?

Brief Answer:
No interaction between the two drugs. Can be used together

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using HCM to post your question.
I read it carefully and I understand your concern.

There is no interaction between the two drugs you want to use. So you can use them together without a problem.

I would not use benzonatate a lot if your son has sputum because benzonatate stops the cough reflex which its good in this case for your son to be able to cough up the secretions from the lungs.

I hope this is helpful.
