Suggest Treatment For Severe Diarrhea With Black Specks
Enteritis with undigested foods as we see in small intestine.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and the picture which is showing the black specks like ground pepper. Understood that the diarrhea is severe and present for 24 hours.
I would advise in such a situation the following:
- First of all send the sample of stool for Lab test and also the blood and stool.
- You need medicines: loperamide if the frequency is too much, antibiotic, probiotic, and supportive in the form of a PPI, activated charcoal, Electrolyte solution (powder) and so on.
- The needs a prescription and a clinical evaluation hence it is better to meet your GP or go to the ER.
- The black specks like ground pepper is an undigested food and nothing much to worry about it.
- Also take curds / yogurt / bananas.
- Intravenous fluids and injection may be necessary if your Doctor feels so.
I hope this answer helps you.
