Suggest Treatment For Severe Diarrhea
Question: For the past week, I have been having very watery stools. At first, they were yellow in consistency, but for the past 2 days, have been clear and at times I loose control. I haven't changed meds or diet. What is happening?

I am so sorry to hear about these watery stools. However, am happy because you are doing the right thing by drinking much water. As long as you drink sufficient water to compensate for the losses in stool, you would be fine.
The next task is to identify the cause and treat accordingly. THe most common cause of diarrhea is often linked to diet and infections. With no changes in diet, ,this becomes unlikely. Have you ever had gallbladder surgery? Have you had a screening colonoscopy? I will appreciate responses to these questions for more insights.
If these do not suggest a possible reason why, I will recommend that you get a stool analysis done to check for possible germs that may explain this. Loosing control is because of the liquid nature of the stool. As soon a we correct this, you would no longer experience this. For now, you may wear a protective under wear to protect soiling your dresses.
