Suggest Treatment For Severe Dizziness And Blurred Vision

Question: Hello - I had an episode on Tuesday where I became very dizzy - had problems with vision and felt faint while sitting at my desk.Lasted about 15 minutes. Then got some orange juice and water. Felt OK but left me with a very very slight headache in one spot. Just recently had blood work done, came back all normal. I have blood pressure monitor at home, have taken it twice and it is averaging 132/68. I'm on 1/2 a pill of Benicar each day to maintain my BP. I've had heart flutters and feel anxious but I'm not anxious about anything but feel like I can't calm down. Any ideas ? Thank you for your time.
Brief Answer:
Syncope
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for choosing HCM.
The problem you are having is called Syncope.
Most of the time cause of syncope is a pathological or physiological problem in functioning of heart. However in some case its neurological also.
Few base line tests of cardiology should be done to rule out the cause of syncope-
2d echo- This test evaluates the cardiac functions and pumping of the heart.
Holter monitoring- to rule out if syncope was due to some faulty rhythms.
carotid artery doppler- to find out if blood supply to brain is normal.
Follow up with reports!
Thanks.
