Question: Hello Doctor,
I have been feeling fatigued in the last three days. Have had a few bouts of sneezing too. I am waking up to a mild irritation in the throat every morning. Can you suggest a prescription to ward of these symptoms or would you prefer to suggest that I wait to see things improve on their own?

Brief Answer:
Antihistamines + proton pump inhibitor...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Your symptoms are not specific. It could be due to allergy or due to a viral infection. At this time without physical examination, it is difficult to pin point the exact cause. I would monitor the progress of symptoms for the next days to week.
In the meanwhile, I would start you on antihistamine drugs like tab levocetrizine 5mg once at night along with a proton pump inhibitor drug like tab pantoprazole 40mg once a day half an hour before breakfast.

You will also benefit with steam inhalation and warm salt water gargles.

Try these remedies and medication for next 3 days. If symptoms don't resolve or worsen, do follow up / visit a doctor nearby.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards
