![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: My 10 month old baby girl has 99.5 f temperature since morning. Have given 0.75 ml calpol liquid. Should I repeat it? Local doctor said yes. Is liquid Cronin a better option?
Brief Answer:
Both calpol and crocin are same
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM
Both calpol and crocin has same composition that is paracetamol. Each ml of crocin or calpol contains 100 mg of paracetamol.
The average weight of 10 month old child is 7-9 kgs and 0.75 ml of crocin/calpol drop is adequate for this age. Depending on the frequency of fever medicine can be repeated at an interval of 6 hours.
So if you have given previous dose 6 hours back it can be repeated again.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more queries.
