Question: my husband is having gas problem and loose motion at same time .
as of now taken one norflox tz .
please recommend what to take and the dosage

Thanks for your query.

Gastroenteritis can be treated symptomatically. I would suggest he takes tab. loperamide 4 mg now and 2mg later as and when required if the frequency is more. Tab. Pan 40 mg once a day half an hour before breakfast for gas. Enterogermina respules (probiotics), 2 respules twice a day for 2 days.

Avoid oily and spicy food. Let him have lots of curds and buttermilk. Adequate hydration and rest is necessary.

In case he has fever then he can take antibiotics. As he has already started norflox tz he can continue it for 3 days.
