Brief Answer:
You might need to get examined!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It is difficult to tell what the exact cause of this pain is without a possible clinical examination and evaluations. Hernia often present with a swelling and if that is not visible, the chances of that are very slim. other possible causes could be a muscle strain, pinched nerve, inflamed joints or tendons. However, these would be long duration pains and not a brief observation. Tylenol will offer mild relief but I suggest that you consider getting consulted if this persists for a comprehensive evaluation and management.

I wish you well. Keep me posted and updated about this. Happy holidays.
