Brief Answer:
Coal tar+salicylic acid shampoo; Fluocinolone acetonide lotion at night

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I have gone through your query and I have noted down your concern.

Dandruff, specially if severe, is an important cause of increased hair fall. Controlling dandruff effectively will reduce hair shedding too.
Shampoos don't increase hair fall. It is usually an underlying factor e.g dandruff in your case, which is responsible for increased hair shedding. Therefore unless you control dandruff effectively you may experience increased shedding.

Rather than herbal shampoo, for dandruff I would suggest that you use a medicated shampoo e.g coal tar+ salicylic acid based shampoo e.g Protar Shampoo. Use it every alternate days. Lather it well onto wet scalp and allow it to act for 5-7 minutes before rinsing it off.
In addition I also suggest you to use a fluocinolone acetonide 0.1% lotion once daily at night, at scalp skin e.g Ultiderm lotion.

In addition to these you may add an Oral biotin supplement once daily e.g tab Revilus Or tab H-Vit forte for 4-6 months. Biotin would help control hair shedding.
These are prescription medications and I suggest that you use them under supervision of a dermatologist in your region.
