Question: My wife has 9 months old baby and now sudden severe hair loss is found in her... She is taking no pills at present...your suggestions

Biotin causes hair growth.
It is one of the component of hair building unit.
It also promotes utilization of proteins by hair.
She can Use minoxidil along with biotin.
Minoxidil increases blood supply to hair root.
Apart from this she can also use tab proanagen or follihair tablets, these are rich in amino acids.
Regarding food she should take any diet rich in protein.

Don't use minoxidil

She can take the tablets but better to avoid minoxidil as there is risk that it may enter baby's mouth.
Once she stops breastfeeding she can start using minoxidil.
