Although it is always preferable to use single medicine for sleep but if the single medicine do not help the second medicine can be given for having a proper effect.
In your case you are using 30 mg of the temazepam and 200 mg of gabapentin. Both the dosage are well within therapeutic dose range and can not be considered very high dose although it will be better if you use single medication as stated above if possible.
