Brief Answer:
SIGNS OF BRAIN INJURY

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for posting the question.

I have gone through your medical history in detail and it seems that you have suffered from a severe degree of skull fracture with brain injury with or without intracranial haemorrhage.

The severity of the symptoms vary in different situations, depending upon the extent and depth of the fracture, injury to brain tissue, increase in intra cranial pressure and other associated injuries.

Inability to hear from the left ear may be due to injury to the occulomotor nerve or an internal injury to the inner ear. An otoscopy will rule this out.

I would like to go through the CT scan / MRI that you may have underwent after the injury so that i would guide you further.

It has been almost months now and generally, brain injuries usually take about 3-6 months to show signs of definite improvement.

You should follow the instructions and medicines that your doctor may have prescribed.

Physiotherapy and healthy diet are an important part of rehabilitation programme and should be followed strictly.

I hope the answer was useful.

Thank you.

Kind regards.

Brief Answer:
CT scan- a must !

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It is rather surprising that even after having a skull fracture and being unconscious with nasal, ear bleeding, you have not been advised a CT scan.

I suggest you to get one done to decide further line of management.

For pain- you can take tramadol/paracetamol depending upon the pain scale.
Take calcium with vitamin and protein supplements for faster recovery.

Thanks
