Question: Hello Doctor,
I am having itching between inner thighs and on genitals. Few small boils are visible and these are very itchy.
And the skin around are dark.
Please suggest me some Ointment for itchy and dark skin.

According to your complaints it could be either intertrigo which is inflammation of the body folds or ringworm which is a fungal infection.

I have applied ABZORB powder to keep the area dry, so you see the white patches.

I have reviewed the attached photographs and it looks like intertrigo which is due to inflammation of the folds.
I would recommend you to keep the area as dry as possible, avoid heavy physical activity which is associated with sweating, wear comfortable well fitted cotton underwear and stay in cool airy environment.
Besides this in such cases I recommend my patients to apply a mild steroid antifungal combination cream like beclomethasone and clotrimazole cream on the affected areas twice daily for 2-3 weeks along with antihistaminic like tablet levocetrizine 5 mg once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.
These are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
