Brief Answer:
I would recommend as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I would explain that pravulent injections can cause this adverse effect (musculo-skeletal pain) in up to 5 % for the patients.

Coming to this point, as you are experiencing this adverse effect, I would recommend stopping taking pravulent for some weeks and then restart it again.

What are your actual cholesterol levels?

It is not recommended to take etodolac to treat this adverse effect, as it would not relieve the symptoms.

Stopping pravulent for a short period would be more helpful to relieve your symptoms.

Some modifications in your diet would also help maintain normal cholesterol levels:

- reduce saturated fat contained in hypercaloric food, red meat, butter, etc. and increase food rich in omega 3 fatty acids (fish, fish oil, olive oil, walnuts, cashew, etc.).
- try performing a lot of physical activity (walking and aerobics are recommended).
- try to lose some pounds if you are overweight.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
