Question : just had a pancreatic stent come out last weekend all while having kidney pain on right being treated for a bladder infection i stated i never had and on Tuesday UMMC at XXXXXXX replaced stent. {But ive complained to them im having immense pain on left lower groin area but comes up to just below belly button. I am overweight 269. a lot of loose skin but am on i.v. fluids at home for dehydration, due to suffering with chronic nephrotic pancreatitis for 4 yrs now...pain is preventing me from trying to stand, hurts to sit, but more on left. I slept most of day for pain knocked me out. I vomited this morning twice...no food intake today... which is minimal anyway. drank water as much as could when awake. I take about 30 some meds and am allergic to 26. have about 30 some dx's too much for u to help me probably IT FEELS LIKE A BLOCKAGE, pain mgmt was wondering if i was passing kidney stone same time as stent was happening...ER here sent me home for they said i was at my limit for imaging.....I can now get xrays this month....any insight...should i see bladder doc or GI, i also just had colorectal screening done with 2 polyps removed.

I have gone through your medical report (the ones that you provided me in the query) and I understand you concerns and will try to answer at all your questions.

According to the pain that starts in the groin area,and comes up below the belly button it correlates with epididymo-orchitis (Infection/inflamation of the testicles)

In patients that have problems with their kidneys,or the ones that have/had urinary tract infection,it is possible for the infection to be spread to the testicle.

If i was your caring doctor i would recommend a urine routine microscopy and culture sensitivity analysis and an ultrasound of your testicles and your urinary tract.

Also you need to consult a specialist i.e. urologist because he needs to do a physical examination of your left testicle. If diagnosis is confirmed then he may start antibiotics and pain relievers.

Hello and I want to say that I am deeply sorry for this misunderstanding.

I didn't do it on purpose.

Now let's get back at your questions.

It is possible that during the procedure of puting the new stent a kidney stone might have passed.
In fact it would have been a rare coincidence, but of course possible.

Another option is cyst on your left ovary.

In both cases, an ultrasound of your abdomen especially your pelvic region and of your urinary tract will give all the necessary information for the diagnosis.

So depending from the results of the ultrasound and urine culture you might need to consult an urologist or a gynaecologist.
