Suggest Treatment For Severe Knee Pain Along With Nausea
Knee effusion / sciatica
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting the question.
I have gone through your medical history in detail.
The symptoms seem to be related to knee synovitis and effusion.Did you have any history of any trauma recently?
Is the pain associated with fever/swelling?
A blood clot is a possibility if you have suffered a trauma or a sprain.
Pain in the back / waist region radiating to the legs and knee signifies a nerve inflammation (sciatica) or compression of the nerve (may be secondary to a slipped disc).
Taking anti-inflammatory medicines like tramadol, paracetamol or aceclofenac along with pregabalin and folic acid, methylcobalamin will be helpful.
Take adequate rest, apply compression bandage around the painful part.
AVOID lifting anything heavy.
Application of local analgesic sprays/gels followed by hot fomentation will be of help.
If these measures do not help, you should consult a orthopedist and get the necessary investigations like Xray/MRI of the knee and lumbar spine done.
I hope the answer was useful.
Feel free to ask me any follow up queries that you may have.
Thank you.
Kind regards.
