Hi,
Thank you for posting the query.
I have seen the attached reports and do not find anything significant. In fact, all the reports are normal, except the haemoglobin being on a lower side. Kidney problem is absolutely not an issue.
Her knee pain may be due to osteoarthritis and weak bones. At her age, many woman start getting these symptoms due to low calcium and menopause.
Swelling in her legs may be due to low haemoglobin,body-weight (66 kgs is overweight for her age ),low proteins in her blood.
If i were her treating doctor, then i would have got the x-rays of her knees done, got her blood calcium and protiens checked.
She should reduce her weight as early as possible and continue taking hematinic medicines to improve her hemoglobin levels.
She should eat dates, beet roots, green leafy vegetables to increase her hemoglobin naturally.
I hope this answer was helpful.
Do get back to me if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
Wish your mother a speedy recovery.
Regards..
She is having BP Problem also but not very high she is maintaining it and having Amlo Kind AT.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
kidney problem is just one reason of legs swelling .
Her kidneys are absolutely fine.
I guess,in the last query, you forgot to mention about the anti-hypertensive tablet that she is taking.
The present swelling may be due to the side effect of the anti hypertensive medicine that she is taking. Amlodepine is known to cause leg swelling.
Just do one thing. Consult the doctor who started her on anti hypertensives and get the tablet changed.
The swelling will reduce automatically.
Thank you.
