Have gone through your narration dear,
As symptoms are acute in onset most likely its enteritis.
It is an infection of Gut caused due to bacteria virus or protozoa.
It is characterized by recurrent nausea vomiting and loose stools or severe constipation due to inflammation and irritation of gut.

Lactulose 10 ml once daily for 2 days its a laxative and would help to relieve constipation.
Tab Dicyclomine 10 mg twice daily for 3 days for spasmodic pain.
(you may need to obtain a prescription from his physician for these)
Avoid taking protein and heavy fats for few days.
Take bland easily digestible food(BRAT diet) and curd if possible.
Please do follow-up after 3 days about his progress.
