Brief Answer:
Can be due to elctrolyte or fluid imbalance.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.

The muscle pain in leg can happen due to inadequate rest, low levels of calcium or magnesium or decreased fluid intake. It can also happen due to muscle spasms. Doing a hot compress and an oral muscle relaxant and analgesic (eg. Tizanidine along with Paracetamol) will help. In case the pain is recurrent then do consult your physician for a detailed clinical examination and few tests to confirm the cause.

I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
