Suggest Treatment For Severe Muscle Spasms In The Neck

Question: I already gave my information about having a very severe muscle spasm in my neck into my head causing excruiating pain. I took my blood pressure and it was 177/100 I then took a blood pressure med--25 mg Losarten followed by 325 mg of hydroco/apap. HELP I need help! I fear having a stroke! Please answer ASAP!!

I am so sorry to hear about this excruciating pain and all the symptoms that you have reported. I have reviewed this information fully and this is certainly not a sign of stroke. Even the increased blood pressure is surely caused by this pain as it is a natural response when we are stressed to have increased blood pressure. I will suggest that you get good pain management. Because you are in possession of hydrocodone, you can take a tablet every 4hours as long as the pain is not well controlled. Regular dosages would certainly improve the pain control, lower your blood pressure and anxiety and help you to pass a good night. If symptoms persist with no significant regression over night, I will suggest that you then seek a medical consultation. Let me know what you think about these directives.
