Brief Answer:
Degenerative changes of the cervical spine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Conditions such cervical spine degenerative disease may cause such symptoms.

Pain that extends to posterior part of the head is usually connected to conditions such occipital neuralgia, due to compression of upper cervical nerves that supply back and top of the head.

Spondyloarthritis, herniated discs disease and other degenerative changes of the cervical spine should be considered and evaluated further by clinical examination and imaging studies (x-rays, MRI of cervical spine).

Discuss with your primary care Doctor about these issues.

Hope I helped.

Kind regards.
