Ive been having eye twitches/freezes for the last two to three months. Could there be any correlation here?

Brief Answer:
There is no correlation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Eye twitches are actually due to myokymias or muscle twitches which is likely due to electrolyte imbalances but there is no correlation between the two. So you need to get an ultrasound pelvis to rule out any fresh cyst formation which can be possibly the cause of abdominal pain or there may be pelvic inflammatory disease which is also so very common in reproductive age group who have been sexually active.
Ideally you should get a gynaecologist examination done to rule out any pelvic infection.

Ok one more question… I have been dealing with the inability to lose weight after my pregnancy despite a very controlled diet and exercise routine. My doctor has done the blood tests and everything comes back within normal range.I have another appointment with her later today but I'm starting to feel like she is convinced there are no issues. Besides a pelvic inflammatory disease or additional cysts, what other things should I request be considered?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Weight loss after pregnancy especially depends on abdominal toning exercises as maximum weight gain and flabbiness in seen over lower abdomen in post pregnancy state with possible divarication of rectii.
Another thing you can ask the gynaecologist is for the possibility of any likelihood of endometriosis as well.

Thats not it. I have a fairly flat stomach albeit bloated. My hips thighs and butt cant seem tonlose weight. My mid section is toned but "thick." I have strong feelings theres definitely something internal or hormonal going on here. What tests and/or imaging is fair tonrequest feom my provider other than the typical blood labs

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Weight gain post pregnancy as such is not hormonal but a deficient progesterone state or an increased oestrogen state can lead to increased water retention in the body and can cause weight gain. However lipid profile can be ordered to check for triglycerides and cholesterol levels along with hormonal profile for any hormone deficiency especially progesterone.
Also yoUR bmr should be calculated as that is a major reason for weight gain. Increase your daily water intake to 4-5 litres a day and this shall help.

Ive increased my water and it hasnt helped. I know its crazy but ive increased my water and literally hold on to it weight wise for weeks. Ive heard the advice, "drink mote water" but literally cant because i get so uncomfortable and bloated. Things arent working right; i know my body but have no clue what to do....

Detailed Answer:
WELL drinking water shall anyhow take 1-2 weeks to adjust to increased water intake and you are supposed to increase the intake slowly to reach 12-15 glasses in a day. There are no ready made remedies for weight loss and the pills available in the market are not substantiated by FDA either, so it has to be individualized as per patient and according to his / her body structure.
So water is an important means to increase BMR and reduce fat and weight.
