Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain Due To Spinal Arthritis
Question: My husband was just diagnosed with arthritis in his back. He is in terrible pain all the time. Is there anything you can recommend for him to ask his doctor for that would help?
Brief Answer:
Let him add Tylenol to his Aleve at first and take it as follows!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
He certainly needs more powerful pain medications. Unfortunately, I cannot prescribe that over the internet. You will need to talk to his treating doctor to consider medications such as Ultram and other opioids for better pain control.
In the interim, please add Tylenol to Aleve for better pain control. Add 650mg of Tylenol (available as over the counter only) every 8hours. Then, follow up with the treating doctor for a script for more potent pain medications as mentioned above.
I hope this helps. I wish you well.
Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
Kind regards
