Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Back Radiating To Rib Cage

Posted on Wed, 25 Mar 2015
Question: I have had ongoing pain since I had a car accident years ago, I was the driver and had a head on collision with a tree at 50mph. I have had so much back pain since that accident. Recently, this pain has become worse. Anytime I stand and walk for any period of time I have extreme pain in my back that radiates around to the lower part of my rib cage on my left side. Upon sitting the pain is so great it feels like it is thumping and squeezing Sometimes when I wake in the morning I cannot get out of bed and when i do occasionally my back locks up, just seizes. It is the scariest and debilitating pain. I do have sciatica. I have had a doctor diagnose me with spinal stenosis, but this doctor has had his license revoked. He was operating a pain clinic that many people were written excess quantities of pain meds, so, I do not know if he even reviewed my MRI. Or, just wrote me pain meds and told me I had spinal stenosis. I am currently taking only ant-inflammatory which does not work very well, but i am not willing to return to opiates. What could this be?

Physiotherapy like IFT And matrix therapy may help you.

I would like you to review my MRI. I have tried to download it myself out of curiosity and have had no luck. I am not sure if it requires special software. I will send it shortly

I hate to close this q & a but I cannot upload my MRI. I am using my cell phone. I am quite happy with the answer and very excited that you would be willing to read my MRI. I had hoped I could do load it using a friend's laptop. I have the 3 days to review your answer, I would rather give you good reviews than let it automatically close. Hopefully I can ask again...look for my question, maybe I can get that MRI review later lol.
