Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Head And Migraine

Symptoms are suggestive of migraine.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Ms XXXXXXX
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your symptoms and they are suggestive of migraine.
You need to be on preventive medications to reduce the severity and frequency of headaches. Good medications for this purpose include flunarizine and beta blockers.
In addition, you need medications to relieve the headache and pain. For this you can take etoricoxib or rizatriptan tablets.
I hope my reply has helped you.
I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
Best wishes,

They are for depression.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.
Fludac (fluoxetine) and eliwel (amitriptyline) are medications used for treating depression (sadness, tension, etc) and it would not help much in headaches and migraine.
So, they are not needed now.

The dose is given below.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.
The dose depends on the severity of symptoms and weight of patient.
In my patients, I use flunarizine at a dose of 10 mg daily, and propranolol (beta blocker) at a dose of 40 mg daily to start with.
For pain relief, I use etoricoxib 90 mg tablets and rizatriptan 10 mg tablets.
Best wishes,
