Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Abdomen And In The Shoulder Blades
Question: I have pain in my upper stomach & between my shoulder blades in my back if I take tums ,rolaids it eases the pain in my stomach this has been going on for a couple of weeks sometimes the pain in my back gets really bad. What could this possibly be I'm not the type to run to a Dr. for every little ache or pain.

Don't worry just take Pantoprazole 40mg once daily along with Antacid like Pepto bismol for 3 days.
Test adviced are-
X ray Cervical thoracic spine AP and Lateral to rule out nerve compression or herniation as a cause of back pain.
Stool routine and microscopy to rule out bacterial or protozoal gastroenteritis.
Apart from that-
Drink COLD milk.
Avoid oily and spicy food.
Eat lots of vegetables and Fruits.
Avoid citrus fruits.
No alcohol or aerated beverages.
Follow up after 3 days.
