Question: I have had pain for over a year especially at my thumbs, arms and shoulders. I tried physical therapy which maybe helped a little, but my wife's cancer was getting worse and I quit the therapy. Back up---- several years ago my little finger on both hands had hard places come up on the last joint. Then they finally went down and both of my little fingers are crooked! OK, so my wife passed away XXXXXXX 15, 2016, and I finally went to a hand and shoulder doctor. They took several x-rays which had not been done before. Then the doctor came in and said my thumb joint was bone on bone on my right hand, and my shoulder was bone on bone on my right side. The left side is almost as bad! The doctor gave me a shot in my hand, and started me pm Mobic 15 mg once a day. I wear a black wrist sleeve during the day, and I wear he hot stuff they put on both hands and molded to my thumb and hand to wear at night. It still hurts.
