Brief Answer:
Analgesic with muscle relaxant

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome.
It would help me if you can provide some information:
For how many days or weeks is the problem present?
Any lump?
Any history of hernia?
Any wound on the lower limb on the same side?
Is there any history of diabetes?
Is there any associated back pain?

It may be due to pinched nerve as a result of long duration sitting. I would suggest you to use cushion while sitting and also frequent standing and walking would be good idea.

Presently You can take pain killers with muscle relaxant like Aceclofenac or Naproxen or etoricoxib with tizanidine or thiocholchicoside for 3-5 days based on the response. You can ask your local doctor for prescription of this agent.
Along with this cold compression with ice packs and analgesic gel or spray to the affected area will be beneficial. Also give rest and avoid any activities that aggravates the pain. This will help you.
If it persists or intensity increases, I would suggest you to see orthopaedician for examination and further help
Hope this helps
Take care

Not sure about diabetes, no hernia's in the past - but I do sit a lot during the day due to my job and not stretching or doing any kind of exercise. Since this change in my job I have noticed the changes. I was working out everyday about 2 years ago but changes in my job caused me to be with my client 24/7. I feel my body is not functioning the way it should because lack of exercise
