Suggest Treatment For Severe Sore Throat After Wisdom Teeth Removal
Post surgical inflammation, aphthous ulcer, medication
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
As far as the throat infection you are describing is concerned, i have two possibilities. It can be because of the post surgical trauma that has resulted in inflammation around the extracted tooth. The other possible cause can be aphthous ulceration secondary to stress and the trauma caused during wisdom tooth removal.
These two cause can result in pain and swelling around the wisdom tooth are and throat region.
Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxycillin and metronidazole combination(if you are not allergic). You can also take analgesics like diclofenac and antiinflammatory drugs like serratiopeptidase, these drugs reduces the pain and swelling around the extracted site. Please note that all these are prescription drugs.
These symptoms are quite common following surgical removal of the tooth. Nothing to worry, it will subside in another 3 days. Continue to do saline gargling.
I hope my answer will help you, take care. If any queries are there reply me back.
