Brief Answer:
No signs of cancer/lymphoma. It's mild pharyngitis...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for posting the query,

I have gone through your query and examined the image thoroughly. The image shows congestion of the soft palate, tonsil and the posterior pharyngeal wall. This implies that there is inflammation of the throat which is causing discomfort for you.

I do not see any signs of cancer or lymphoma in the throat. The above feature can be commonly seen in acid reflux disease, sinusitis, and pharyngitis.

Do not worry! With appropriate measures, this can be taken care of.
1. Drink frequent sips of warm water
2. Avoid coffee, chilled food and beverages, fizzy drinks, and smoking (if any)
3. Avoid stress
4. Need to get treated for any underlying causes as described above

Hope this answers your query; I will be available for the follow-up queries.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing back,

Congestion means redness over the tissues secondary to inflammation. Normal tissues appear pink whereas the inflamed tissues appear red and swollen.

Relax! There is nothing to be worried about. This is a very trivial problem. Your anxiety can worsen the things for you. Just follow the measures mentioned in my earlier response, you will get better soon.

Hope this clarifies your doubts. Wish you good health.
