Suggest Treatment For Severe Stomach Cramping

default
Posted on Sat, 11 Jul 2015
Question: I have severe stomach cramping that feels like menstrual cramps. The only thing that helps is a heating pad. I had a hysterectomy 30 years ago but left my ovaries. I had a pelvic CT a week ago that showed nothing. I hate to go to the Er for them to tell me nothing is wrong. I have no gallbladder or appendix. Do you have any suggestions? No bowel problems, fever or nausea

Brief Answer:
Can be intestinal or urinary infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Pain abdomen in the lower abdomen seems to be intraperitoneal in nature. The following are the possibilities
1) Acute Gastrointestinal infection
2) Sexual transmitted disease
3) Renal or urinary infection.
You should see a doctor if the symptoms do not reduce in 24 hours. Till then check if there is an over the counter antispasmodic available with your pharmacist. Take them after taking fluid diet, three times a day.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Uricalm can help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Initially gastro infection may present only with pain. A blood test cannot detect such infection. You need to have a stool test and an ultrasound scan for this.
Uricalm can help in relieving such spasm.
Hope my answer is helpful.
